OneAmerica Executive Director Pramila Jayapal has been selected to act as a member of the the Seattle Police Department's Search Committee for the next Police Chief - and she needs your input.

Over the next couple weeks the City of Seattle will be hosting public meetings to hear what the community has to say regarding the choice for Chief of the Seattle Police Department. It is important that the voices of immigrants and communities of color are represented in the process of selecting a new Chief and this is your chance to make your voice heard!

Here are the questions the Mayor's Police Chief search committee is asking of interested citizens:

  • What qualities are you looking for in a new Police Chief?
  • What is the most important public safety issue in Seattle?
  • What does the Seattle Police Department do well?
  • What changes would you like to see?
