Stand up for equality and justice.
Final Days of Trek for Justice
May 19th
After miles and miles of walking in rain and sun, our group has finally made it! They came to Bethany United Church in Beacon Hill, Wenesday night, where they shared their incredible experience with the resilient group of 40 people risking arrest to support immigration reform. There the two groups swapped stories, inspired each other and shared a meal.
The group reflected on their amazing journey and said despite the pain, setbacks and anti-immigrant backlash they were energized for the next day protest.
Make sure to check out the pictures from their journey.
May 20th
Our marchers were the first ones at the protest, holding up the crosses and flags singing and chanting as they joined hundreds of immigration reform advocates as they demanded that Congress and President Obama work immediately to pass immigration reform this year.
