Street Fair FOR Comprehensive Immigration Reform NOW!
Join together with artists, musicians, faith leaders, and workers for a street fair for immigration reform in front of the federal building. We will rally! We will sing! We will pray! We will gather inspiration from faith leaders and artists in our community! And we will make sure that President Obama and our elected leaders hear our cry for immigration reform loud and clear from the streets of Seattle. With AZ’s new law and the broken system’s toll on the economy and families, the call for immigration reform has never been more urgent.

We will be building an altar of hope and change in front of the federal building. Please bring items for the altar that shows the contributions of immigrants to this country or that symbolize the countless families kept separated every day by backlogs and deportations. Let’s make the urgency of this fight tangible to our elected leaders by showing them the strength of our labor and the love in our families and how this broken immigration system hurts workers and families.
WHEN: Wednesday June 23rd, 3:00 pm
WHERE: Federal Building, 2nd and Madison, Seattle
