King County Office of Civil Rights (KCOCR)
KCOCR's mission is to eliminate unlawful discrimination through education, mediation, and enforcement that is responsive to a diverse King County. OCR implements non-discrimination ordinances, investigates and resolves complaints of discrimination, and provides education, to ensure fair employment and non-discrimination in employment by King County government as an employer, contractors doing business with King County, and private employers in unincorporated King County with 8 or more employees.
Protected classes: race, color, national origin, religion, gender, disability, familial status, martial status, sexual orientation (including gender identity), age, Section 8, ancestry, use of a service or assistive animal
Those wishing to file a complaint must do so within 365 days of the discrimination incident.
