Northwest Immigrant Rights Project (NWIRP)

NWIRP promotes justice for low-income immigrants by pursuing and defending their legal status. NWIRP provides direct legal services supported by education and public policy work. NWIRP works with people detained in the Tacoma immigration detention center, providing legal services and a Legal Orientation Program to qualified detainees.
