Washington State Department of Labor and Industries (L&I)

L&I is a state agency dedicated to the safety, health and security of Washington's workers. L&I helps employers meet safety and health standards and inspects workplaces when alerted to hazards. L&I also administrators the state's workers' compensation system, providing medical and limited wage-replacement coverage to workers who suffer job-related injuries and illness and ensuring that workers are paid what they are owed.
