All inhabitants of Washington have certain rights and responsibilities under the Law Against Discrimination: the right to be free from discrimination at work, in housing, in a public accommodation, or when seeking credit and insurance.
Protected classes: race, color, national origin, creed, sex, disability, familial status, marital status, sexual orientation (including gender identity), veteran/military status
Those wishing to file a complaint must do so within six months of the discrimination for employment cases (1 year for housing cases).
